White Crested Polish Hen

I feel the Polish Chickens are the rock stars of the poultry world.  My depiction of a White Crested Polish Hen illustrates the eccentric look of the breed with the unique top knot which screams, “Look at me!”  In another oddity regarding this bird’s name, they are not from Poland, as one version of their origin is, they were brought west by the Mongol Hordes.  In any case, this picture is bound to create interest when hanging in your home.
